Growth in Export Market
Taking fantastic Yorkshire products to the rest of the world!
These are tough times for all but we remain upbeat. Food and drink continues to buck the economic trend due to the high quality and innovative products made in the region.
These are increasingly recognised around the world with a number of export successes. We recently represented regional food from Britain for the first time at Gulfood as part of our drive to help our members target emerging export markets. One notable success was Yorkshire Crisps which is now successfully supplying Golf Clubs in the Gulf.
As an organisation we already have more than 40 members exporting produce to countries all over the world.
