27 January 2012 Fully funded mentoring workshops
Fully funded mentor training – half day workshops with a training certificate from SFEDI for passing the 20 question questionnaire. Would you like to be on our pilot cohort? If you know any other business owners or business support team who would like to be involved, they are welcome subject to a couple of eligibility criteria.
The advantages of this training are that it will give you the skills and knowledge to reinforce and develop your mentoring practice, helping business owners at a time when public sector support is diminishing. It is also fully funded (subject to some basic eligibility criteria), only a half day including a simple 20 question multiple choice assessment.
The funding comes from BIS, they want to train business owners primarily to mentor other businesses and are looking for a commitment of 1 voluntary hour a month (or equivalent) for two years – something you probably do already with your customers, friends, supply chain and at networking events.
