11 September 2010 Uncle Henry’s celebrate the finest in regional Bangers and Beer!

Uncle Henry’s, one of Humberside’s most popular destinations is hosting its Fourth Annual Sausage Beer and Jazz Festival.

The award winning Farm Shop and Café is celebrating its fourth birthday in style by inviting everyone to come along for a day that is all about local sausages, ales and music. This year’s event promises to be the best yet, as they let you discover why the area is so great at producing really fabulous food and drink.

Uncle Henry’s event is a showcase for all that is best in regional food; “Our food comes from people who are passionate about their products” says owner Steve Ward.

You will get the chance to meet a range of local sausage and beer suppliers including other Deliciously Yorkshire members; Highwood Brewery and Wold Top Brewery. Visitors will also have the chance to sample some of products that are being showcased.

The event includes sausage making demonstrations from Uncle Henry’s resident butchers, cookery demonstrations and a live Jazz band.

A sausage recipe competition will challenge the more creative of visitors to create their idea of a perfect sausage recipe; with the winner getting the chance to make their very own batch!

Steve adds “We look forward to welcoming back all our regular customers and friends, and of course plenty of new faces, for what will be a really exciting day. What more could you ask for from a Saturday in September, than to be sat sampling beer and listening to great music!”

Bangers, beer, a band ….and fingers crossed, some beautiful weather!

Uncle Henry’s Sausage Beer and Jazz Festival will be held at Uncle Henry’s Farm Shop, located near the town of Kirton Lindsey

On Saturday 11th September from 11.30am – 4.30pm

The event is free to attend and free parking is available.
