deliciouslyorkshire, the campaigning brand which champions the fantastic range of food and drink from the region, will be launching Yorkshire’s Own Kitchen - the authoritative guide to the best food and drink in the Yorkshire and Humber region, as well as hosting a packed line-up of 32 food heroes at this year’s Great Yorkshire Show. There will also be regular daily inspirational cookery demonstrations and tutorials on the stand by a host of celebrity and award-winning local chefs and producers.

Yorkshire Food and Drink Producers
Consumers are increasingly interested in where and how their food is grown and raised and by buying local you can talk with the producer in person. 
You’re bound to find something under the deliciouslyorkshire banner to take your fancy - whether your taste runs to artisan cheese, delicious pork pies or crumbly fudge .
Tantalising your taste buds deliciouslyorkshire’s Curry Cuisine will launch their special edition spicy strawberry chutney, exclusive for this event! Debbie & Andrew’s will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their premium sausage brand by launching a search for young food entrepreneurs culminating in a Dragons Den style event, while Sloe Motion will quench your thirst and help you cool down with their summer drink recipes including a Sloe Whisky and ginger beer combination. 

Deliciouslyorkshire Guide to Food and Drink Launched
Showcasing some of the best places to eat, buy, stay and visit for a gastronomic tour of Yorkshire and Humber, deliciouslyorkshire will launch Yorkshire’s Own Kitchen, your essential guide to the very best of local produce, as well as inspirational recipes from our local food heroes and celebrity chefs, beautiful photography and food highlights for planning an appetising day out - all in one easy-to-use full colour book.  Available at the show at a special introductory price of £6.50 Yorkshire’s Own Kitchen is available through farm shops, independent delis and local bookshops, as well as online at http://www.deliciouslyorkshire.co.uk and retails at £9.99.

New Deliciouslyorkshire Recipe Competition
Make sure you pick up a copy of deliciouslyorkshire’s recipe cards which will not only give you a step-by-step guide to creating a delicious local dish, but also the opportunity to enter the latest online competition (at http://www.deliciouslyorkshire.co.uk) to win an exciting range of Yorkshire prizes from dinner, bed and breakfast, a romantic meal for two to a luxurious hamper full of Yorkshire goodies.  The full range of recipes (ten in all) will be available to collect in The Yorkshire Post from 6 July and from deliciouslyorkshire at shows throughout the year.

Daily Cookery Theatre
The deliciouslyorkshire cookery theatre in conjunction with the Yorkshire Agricultural Society will also be cooking up a treat, with live demonstrations and tutorials, hosted by Yorkshire Life Food & Wine Consultant Annie Stirk, inspiring visitors to have a go at cooking using local produce.  Cookery Theatre highlights will include appearances by chefs Rosemary Shrager and Brian Turner, a host of award-winning local chefs and Nigel Barden, resident foodie on the Chris Evans’ Show (BBC Radio Two).
